Question Nintendo Wii Soft Mod

The softmod is difficult to use, I'm constantly trying to switch between different cios versions to get particular games working. My questions are :-

Now it's modded, would I get better value selling it (takes quite a bit of effort to get it to the pristeen soft modded version I am using) and buying a new one?

Or

Remove the softmods, any ideas in this respect? can find plenty about soft modding but not a lot on removing the soft mod.

Default soft mods

i believe the new Wii firmware closes the door on softmods for now (due out shortly)-- no doubt nintendo will sneak it in to top title games so an update is unavoidable.

back to modchips i think !:

as I thought - new 'mario' game doesn't work with softmod (to date) - got reports of other games being a problem too.
looks like nintendo are on the ball again - just in time for christmas
